The latest issue of MW is back from the printers and, in my unbiased opinion, it’s another cracker. Available to buy now, it stars the launch of our new Figure Showcase feature which, as the name implies, showcases figures from a variety of manufacturers professionally painted and photographed to show them at their best. The first of this regular series concentrates on the Samurai so you will want to check it out if that’s your period of interest.
Other features include show reports from Battlegroup South and Stoke Challenge; an exclusive preview of the new WWII rules Battlegroup Kursk; an innovative look at wargaming the ‘fluke shot’ in the context of a Thirty Years War battle as well as the concluding parts to our series on Plataea, Queenston Heights and War Plan Red. Plus Darker Horizons and a debut article by modelling guru Tony Harwood.
Plenty to keep you amused as the autumn nights draw in…
