Today, I received a sample of the first kit from new Spanish manufacturer Minairons – a Spanish Civil War-era Panzer I.  This has been passed to Zeus on Mount Olympus, so watch out for the review soon, but on first blush it looks a very professional product.

The publicity material that came with the kit also explained that the company’s name is not – as I thought – a contraction of ‘Miniature Irons’ but the name of a type of Catalan fairy!  Who knew?
